The aptly named Moore’s Law now forms the basis of the semi-conductor industry and its prediction has proved remarkably accurate. Put simply, computers get twice as fast every two years. The incredible advancement of computers’ processing power can be interpreted as indicating an inevitable future where computers outstrip people. The issue with this assertion is that it makes the assumption that increases in progress will stay constant; even the semi-conductor industry acknowledges that the speed at which processingShow MoreRelatedThe Expansion Of Western Europe929 Words   |  4 PagesThis organization has several options to facilitate their expansion into Western Europe.
